I happened upon the pattern for this doily about two weeks ago... and...
It was love at first sight!
I knew I had to make one...
And I'm so pleased with the results!
I think this would be beautiful in any color imaginable...

How utterly gorgeous! My grandmother and mom used to make doilies but I never acquired the skill.. This is one is just beautiful! You sure have some talent here!
Thanks, Jalynn! My grandmother and mom crocheted, too... and I have a huge box of doilies and tablecloths that they made. I used to love watching them crochet when I was a kid, and I finally learned how to do it when I was a teenager. Now I just need to learn how to knit! Nobody in my family ever did that... and I have nobody to teach me... so I guess I'll just have to teach myself via the internet! lol
