Ice Cream Sundae Afghan

I finished my latest crochet project today...

A blanket for a baby girl...
Or a sweet little lady.

The colors remind me of an ice-cream sundae...
Sweet shades of cherry, mint, blueberry...
Vanilla cream and chocolate brown.

I love traditional Granny Square afghans...
But I decided the first round should be a pinwheel...
And I finished the afghan off with a scalloped edge.

Available for purchase at my Etsy shop. :)

I Love Cupcakes!

Yum! I love cupcakes!

Especially calorie-free ones!

And this calorie-free cupcake scarf is a custom order from my Etsy Shop.

It's just like the one below... only instead of pink "icing,"
it was requested that I "frost" these cupcakes with aqua "icing."

Mmmm... cupcakes!

I don't care what color the "icing" is...
or whether they're crocheted or baked from scratch...
I love them all! hehe

Romantic Roses Doily

I happened upon the pattern for this doily about two weeks ago... and...

It was love at first sight!

I knew I had to make one...

And I'm so pleased with the results!

I think this would be beautiful in any color imaginable...
or even in a combination of colors.

Available for purchase at my Etsy shop. :)

Sweetheart Gift Bags

Valentine's Day is just around the corner, so I decided to crochet some "Sweetheart Gift Bags." They're the perfect size for candy or little presents. I think they look nice just hanging as a decoration, too... and will probably make some of these for my Christmas tree this year.

Available for purchase at my ETSY shop.

Cascading Roses Scarf

I crocheted 14 roses of varying sizes and crocheted them together to make this scarf. The roses were crocheted following a vintage pattern that belonged to my mother. The length of the scarf is 81", and the width varies from 4-6".

Available for purchase at my ETSY shop.

Romantic Rose and Lace Scarf

The rose on this scarf was crocheted following a vintage pattern that belonged to my mother. I love the bright colors, and I added a bit of "Fun Fur" for some added whimsy. Total length is 79", and it's 8" wide.

Available for purchase at my ETSY shop.

Strawberry Rose Cupcake Scarf

How yummy! One of my favorite desserts, chocolate cupcakes, topped with icing that's been swirled (crocheted) to resemble my favorite flower... a rose!

I crocheted 14 cupcakes, and the total length of the scarf is 78", and it's 4" wide. Now... I just need to sit down and write a pattern for it. SO much easier said than done!

Scarf available for purchase at my ETSY shop.
